"FONTENELLE RAY-------Memorial services for Fontenelle Ray, 101, Coos Bay, were held Sunday night at the Coos Bay First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Everett Curry officiating. Private committal was at Rest-Haven Memorial Park in Eugene.
Mrs. Ray, a seven year resident of Coos Bay, and formerly of Eugene, was born July 14, 1879, at Fontenelle, Iowa, and died Dec. 26 in Coos Bay.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernice Hamilton of Coos Bay, and Marie Davis of Portland; grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son and one daughter."
