Mr. Arnold was born June 19, 1929, in Franklin County, the son of Floyd Arnold Sr. and Artie Chandler Arnold.
He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from International Paper Company after 43 years of service. He was a member of Morgantown Baptist Church where he was a member of Rayford Smith's Sunday school class.
Mr. Arnold was a past member of the Mississippi Cattleman's Association and served on the Adams County Soil and Water Conservation District Board and the Adams County FSA Committee.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Acey Arnold, Charles Arnold and Rodney Arnold; one sister, Agnes Allen; and one half-brother, Leroy Arnold.
