Mrs. Neely was a kindergarten teacher at Benton Academy. She was a member of Benton Baptist Church. She was also involved in the Vaughan Ladies Club.
Jeanette is survived by her husband Billy J. Neely of Benton, daughters; Dawn Kirk (Henry) of Yazoo City, and Dana Shipp (Trey) of Bentonia, 4 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, brothers; Jerome Arnold of Natchez, Dwight Arnold (Linda) of Natchez, and Terry Arnold (Kim) of Jackson, sister Shirley McAllister (Barney) of Natchez, sister-in-laws; Anna Arnold of Natchez and Priscilla Arnold of Crystal Springs, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Mrs. Neely will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 2:00 in the Stricklin-King Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be before the service from 1-2. Internment will be in Central Holmes Cemetery in Yazoo County. The Rev. Charles Moore will conduct the services.
