A 50 year resident of Beloit, she was born June 24,1897 in Okochee, Ok. the daughter of Adam and Hattie Blood Kratzenberg.
She was married to William Ferger in Beloit in 1945. She was a member of Christ Methodist Church and a graduate of LaCrosse Teachers' College.
Surviving are her husband, a daughter, Mrs Jack (Carol) Nelson of Beloit, a son Robert Bates of Gilroy, Ca.; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Ken Brandt, Mrs Emma Travis and Mrs. Stan Goldschmidt, all of Beloit.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Cranston Road Chapel. The Rev. Carl Bloedow will officiate. Burial will be in Floral Lawns. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
