A resident of Beloit since 1929, he was born April 9, 1904,in Grant County, the sone of George and Rosina Bernamann Ferger. He married Lorraine V. Bates April, 1945 in Beloit. He was a machinist at Beloit Corp., an Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Christ Methodist Church.
He is survived by a daughter, Mrs Jack (Carol) Nelson of Beloit, one son, Robert of Clinton; 10 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; three sisters, Mrs Fred (Kate) Nicholson of Beloit, Mrs LeRoy (Emma) Quass of Brodhead and Mrs Anna Saladino of South Beloit, one brother John of Beloit; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife on May 9, 1971 and two brothers.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Rosman-Uehling-Kinzer Cranston Road Chapel, the Rev Carl Bloedow officiating. Burial will be at Floral Lawns. Visition will be from 7-9 p.m. Thursday at the chapel.
