Raymond A. Wolfinger, 79, of Belvidere, N.J., died Wednesday in Warren Hospital. He was the husband of Elsie L. (Sassaman) Wolfinger. They were married 59 years yesterday.

He was a maintenance technician at Warren Haven Nursing Home, Mansfield Township, N.J., for 12 years until retiring. Before that he was a part owner of the former North Jersey Knitting Mills, Belvidere.

Born in Nockamixon Township, he was a son of the late Henry and Bertha (Lightcap) Wolfinger.

He was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Belvidere.

He was founder of the Belvidere Ambulance Corps and a past foreman of the Good Will Fire Department, Belvidere.

Survivors: Wife; daughters, Grace L. Richards of Reading and Verna M. Stothoff of Flemington, N.J.; brothers, Harold and Harvey, both of Belvidere, and Robert of Raubsville; sisters, Martha Hart of Inverness, Fla., and Anna Cochran of Upper Black Eddy; four granddaughters- Cynthia Richards Miller of Lancaster, PA; Kathleen Richards Bracy, Hamburg, PA; Sandy Stothoff Koehler, Lansdale, PA; Dawn Stothoff Warner, Flemington, NJ and a great-grandson Robert Koehler.

Services: 2 p.m. tomorrow, MacFadden Funeral Home, 325 Hardwick St., Belvidere. Call 7-9 p.m. today. Edition: FIFTH
