She was the wife of the late Asher Richards, who passed away on October 6, 2012.
Born in Revere-Nockamixon Township, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elsie (Sassaman) Wolfinger.
Grace was a graduate of Belvidere High School in New Jersey and attended the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy and Science. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star-Reading Chapter #251, International Order for Rainbow for Girls #33 where she was an advisor for 35 years, a Welcome Wagon hostess and an Avon representative for many years, and a Meals on Wheels driver for 30 years. She was also a member of the Exeter Women's Club and Schwarzwald U.C.C. Grace was employed by Boscov's Department Stores in Reading for 19 years in the curtain and drapes department retiring in 1999.
Grace is survived by two daughters, Cynthia L. wife of James O. Miller of Surf City, NC, and Kathleen M. wife of Richard Bracy of Virginville; two grandchildren, Allison C. and Benjamin O. Bracy and one sister, Verna M. Stothoff of Flemington, NJ.
Visitation with family and friends will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm with services beginning at 4:00 pm in Lutz Funeral Home, Inc. 2100 Perkiomen Avenue Reading, PA 19606. The interment will be at Schwarzwald Cemetery, Jacksonwald. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a charity of your choice or the Reading Assembly of Rainbow for Girls.
