HAWKINSVILLE - Helen "Tincy" Bailey Akins, age 100, died Thursday, September 18, 2003 in Hawkinsville, Georgia. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 20, 2003 at 3P.M. at Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Statesboro.
Mrs. Akins was born in Wheeler County, she lived for many years in Telfair County before moving to Summers Landing in Vidalia in 1996. She was a member of the Erick Christian Church. Her husband, Michael Estus Akins, preceded her in death. Mrs. Akins leaves to cherish her memory several nieces and nephews.
