Ehrhardt - Marion N. Berry, 76, died Monday in Colleton County Hospital. The funeral will be 4 p.m. Tuesday at Mt. Pleasant Lutheran Church. Burial will be with Masonic rites will be in the church cemetery. Mr. Berry was born in Bamberg County, son of the late Samuel B. and Mrs. Mel Rhoad Berry. He was a member of Hope Lodge, AFM, the Ashton Grange and the Zion Methodist Church. He was a retired farmer. Surviving are: his widow, Mrs. Lola Fender Berry; two daughters, Mrs. Barbara Bessinger of Columbia and Mrs. John Barnes of Ehrhardt; three sisters, Mrs. B. J. Reeves and Mrs. Rena McAlhany, both of Branchville and Mrs. Pete Dukes of Reevesville; three brothers, Oscar Berry of Reevesville, James Berry and Willie Berry, both of Branchville. © The News and Courier, Charleston, SC, 27 Feb 1973
