James D. McLauchlin, 78, died peacefully at home with family and hospice members Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010, true to himself to the end. Funeral: 11:30 a.m. Friday in Greenwood Chapel. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Greenwood Funeral Home. James spent his life as a husband, dad and grandad. He was a very successful saddlemaker and former member of the Secaucus (N.J.) American Legion. James was preceded in death by his wife, Paula; his parents, Wesley and Nolie McLauchlin; two brothers, Wesley Price McLauchlin and Earl McLauchlin; and two sisters, Nola Mae Ingram and Ruby Ann McLauchlin. Survivors: Sons, James and Kenneth; grandchildren, Jimmy, Nikki, Delanie and Ray; brother, Freddy McLauchlin; and sisters, Sadie Lee Eck and Juanita Brown.
