Funeral services for Ray MARKS, 58 , for years head of the express companies operating here, will be held at the Miller & Sons Funeral Home at 2 pm Thursday. Rev Singer will officiate and burial will be in the St John Evangelical and Reformed cemetery near Stearleyville.
He was a member of the Centennial Lodge No 541, F & AM, the Royal Arch Chapter of Masons of Brazil, and the Red Men's lodge at Harmony and the First Methodist Church of Brazil. Mr MARKS was active in political and civic circles and served as trustee of Brazil Twp and was a member of the board of trustees of the Brazil Schools.
Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Ora RAAB MARKS
