Expires Tuesday -- Complication of Diseases the cause Mrs. Sarah C. Dale died at 12 o'clock noon Tuesday at her home in Shepherdsville of a complication of diseases. She had been ill several weeks. Ms. Dale was born in Hendricks county, October 5, 1849. She came to Boone county with her parents when she was four years of age and settled in Harrison township where she was lived ever since with the exception of two years spent in Jennings county and twenty five years residence in Indianapolis. She was married twice the first time was on March 1, 1871 in Boone county to Andrew Lawler who died in 1881 and the second time on August 19, 1886 in Boone county to Wesley Dale who survives. Nine children are living; Frank Lawler of near Thorntown; Ora Lawler of near Lebanon; Mrs. Allie Atherton and Roy Lawler of Indianapolis; Mrs. Tena Kinkead of Clermont; Mrs. Wreatha McFarland of Kokomo, Orvile Dale of Louisville Kentucky, Paul Dale of Indianapolis and Clora Dale of Sherpherdsville. Three children Roy Lawler, Orville and Paul Dale are at present sojourning in Florida. There are three sisters Mrs. Thelma Young of Indianapolis, Mrs. Arminda Sheekley of Lebanon, Mrs. Basil Rightlseli of Sherpherdsville. One brother William Hedge of near Brunswick and three brothers are deceased, there are also seventeen grandchildren and one great grandchild. Mrs. Dale was a member of the Methodist Protestant church at Milledgeville. The funeral will be held from Milledgeville at 2 p.m. Friday by the Rev. Clawson and the Rev. Wyant. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.
