In the obituary columns of the two St. Louis newspapers Sunday appeared a brief notice of the death of Emmett L. (Junk) Lyon, who passed away at his home at 1624 Clara avenue in that city on Saturday, March 13. Funeral services were announced to be held at the Drehmann-Harrel Chapel, 1905 Union Blvd., on Tuesday, March 16, with interment in Valhalla Cemetery.
Mr. Lyon, who was a resident of this city a good many years ago, employed as manager of Western Union office, is survived by his wife, Mrs. Myrtle (Ferrell) Lyon and a daughter, Mrs. Allen G. Jehle Jr.
He still retained membership in A.F. & A.M. Lodge No. 462 here, also in Centennial Chapter No. 141, R.A.M.
