Funeral services were held at the Wardell Baptist church Friday afternoon, February 26, for Mrs. Mary Ring, 55, who died at Bethesda Hospital in St. Louis on February 23. Mrs. Ring was born June 27, 1898 in Dyer county, Tennessee. The Rev. Orville Bruce of St. Louis and Rev. Earl Selby of Wardell conducted the service and burial was in Wardell Memorial Cemetery, with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home service.
Mrs. Ring is survived by a son, L.P. Ring, of St. Louis; three daughters, Mrs. Vintress Givens of Wardell, Mrs. Chester Pyland of Anderson, Ind. and Miss June Ring of St. Louis, also three brothers; a sister and seven grandchildren.
