Funeral services were held at the Baptist Church in Wardell Monday afternoon for L.P. Ring, 55, resident of the Wardell community for many years, who died at his home there on Saturday, June 23, the Rev. Charles Hunt conducting the service.
Mr. Ring was born December 29, 1895 in Dyer County, Tennessee.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Ring; a son, L.P. Ring, Jr., three daughters, Miss June Ring, Mrs. Lucille Pyland and Mrs. Vintress Bivins; two brothers, four sisters and seven grandsons.
Burial was in Wardell Memorial Cemetery with Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home Service.
