Ida A. Telger, 92, of Shobonier, died on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 7, 2010, at Fayette County Hospital Long Term Care in Vandalia.
Services were held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in rural Shobonier, with the Revs. David Hoehler and Douglas Meyer officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Visitation was held one hour before services on Wednesday at the church. Pagel Funeral Home in St. Peter was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
Mrs. Telger was born on Oct. 11, 1918, in Fayette County, the daughter of Herman and Fredericka Warnecke Bergman. She married Louis J. Telger on March 3, 1946, at St. Peter's Lutheran Church in St. Peter; he died on Nov. 26, 1989.
She is survived by sons, Gary Telger and his wife Pam of Tremont, and Michael Telger and his wife Loann of Shobonier.
