Mr. Stanley, of 603 Easy St., Rusk, died Thursday, February 9, in a local nursing home. Born in Wood County, he had lived in Angelina County for the past 22 years, and was formerly of Alto. Mr. Stanley retired from the City of Lufkin Parks Dept. in 1970 and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lufkin. He also was a veteran of WWII serving with the U. S. Army.
Survivors: brother, Will Stanley of Rusk.
