Services for Perry Leroy Stanley, 80, were conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, February 13, in the Oakley-Metcalf Chapel with Rev. Bob Lewis officiating. Graveside services were conducted at noon at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Rusk, Cherokee County.

Mr. Stanley, of 603 Easy St., Rusk, died Thursday, February 9, in a local nursing home. Born in Wood County, he had lived in Angelina County for the past 22 years, and was formerly of Alto. Mr. Stanley retired from the City of Lufkin Parks Dept. in 1970 and was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Lufkin. He also was a veteran of WWII serving with the U. S. Army.

Survivors: brother, Will Stanley of Rusk.
