William Jefferson Foston, 82, of 1301 Bee Road died Monday at Westview Convalescent Center after a long illness.
The Bulloch County native was retired from Virginia-Carolina Chemical Co. and was a member of Taliaferro Baptist Church.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Leola Foston of Savannah; a half-brother, M.F. Richardson of Atlanta; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. today at Terry C. Massey Funeral Home, with burial in Middleground Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery near Statesboro.
