Dead on arrival at 6 a.m. Friday, Jan. 3, at Seventh Ward Hospital. She was a native and resident of Albany. Body to be at Thomas Memorial Chapel, Hammond, after 5 p.m. Friday. Religious services at Blood River Baptist Church, Albany, at 2:30 p.m. Saturday. Interment in Bethlehem Cemetery, Albany. Survived by her son, Hollis C. Pace Jr., Albany; one stepson, Preston Raney, Baton Rouge, two step-daughteres, Mrs. Johnnie Ethel Wallace, Baton Rouge, and Mrs. Sally Easterwood, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Sarah Hano, Albany, and Mrs. Mamie Nobles, Baton Rouge; one brother, Pat Wheat, Denham Springs, and 15 grandchildren.
