Three husbands: Floyd V. Chiles (1888-1918), Charles L. Shaff (1876-1924) and Daniel J. Stanton (1881-1974).

Children: Russell J Chiles, Francis Chiles, Charles W. Shaff, Donald Shaff and Virginia (Stanton) Schwartzle Stuerman.

Mrs. Loretta D. Stanton, 38 years old, 1023 South Eighth street, died at a local hospital Monday night. She lived in Sioux Falls 24 years. Surviving are five children: Russell, 18, Francis, 12, Charles 8, Donald 6 and Virginia 4. She is also survived by her father, Maurice J. Connell (Morris Connell). Funeral services will be from St. Joseph Cathedral with arrangements to be announced later. Interment will be in the Catholic cemetery under the direction of the Miller Funeral home.
