Strausstown, April 11 - Mrs. Lizzie A. (Dietrich) Christman , 79, widow of Levi N. Christman, died this morning at the home of her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar R. Haag, this place. She was a daughter of Joel and Kate (Unger) Dietrich, was a member of the Lutheran congregation of Zion's (Blue Mountain) Church, this place, and the home department of its Sunday school.
Her husband died 29 years ago. Surviving are one daughter, Ella, wife of Oscar R. Haag, with whom she resided here; two sisters, Kate, widow of William Kenney, Philadelphia, and Fayette, widow of Moses Ebling, Wernersville; two brothers, Isaac Dietrich, this borough, and John Dietrich, Centerport. Short services in the Kirkhoff Funeral Home, Bernville, Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock, will be followed by further services in Zion's Church, this place. The Rev. Alfred H. Erb and the Rev. Dr. Frank W. Ruth will officiate. Burial will be in the adjoining cemetery.
