Little Marguerite LaVerne Terral, age 7 years, one month, and two days, died at noon Tuesday, September 1, 1931, after a three week's illness with septic sore throat. Her death came just one week after the death of her young brother, James Ray Terrall [sic Terral], who died with the same disease. About three weeks ago the four children of Mr. and Mrs. George Terral became ill with this malady. The two remaining are reported to be out of danger.
Funeral services for Marguerite LaVerne were held Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at the Transport Cemetery. The Rev. L. V. Fortenberry, pastor of the Dodson Baptist Church, had charge of the services.
The deceased is survived by her parents, an older sister, Grace, and by an infant brother and a host of relatives and friends.
