Dorothy F. Moore, 61, 0f Baring, Missouri, died Monday, February 17, 1997, at the University Hospital at Columbia, Missouri.
Mrs. Moore was born October 27, 1935, southeast of Edina, Missouri, the daughter of Louis A. and Thelma Luke Alber.
Born June 6, 1959, she married Ernest Moore at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Edina, Missouri, and he survives.
Also surviving are her mother, five children, two brothers and four aunts.
She was preceded in death by her father, Louis A. Alber on December 14, 1992.
Mrs. Moore was a life long resident of Knox County, Missouri. She graduated from the Edina High School in 1953, and also attended the Gem City Business College at Quincy, Illinois, and the Kirksville State Teachers College.
Mrs. Moore worked for the Knox County Welfare Office as a case worker up until the time of her marriage. Following their marraige, Mr. and Mrs. Moore have been engaged in farming west of Baring, Missouri.
She was a member of the St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Baring, Missouri, and also a member of the Cyril A. Graham American Legion Post #261, Auxiliary, at Edina, Missouri. She was active in the Knox County Democratic Committee.
Mass of the Christian Burial was held Thursday, February 20, 1997, at the St. Aloysius Catholic Church at Baring, Missouri, with Father Greg Meystrick officiating.
Burial was in the St. Aloysius Catholic Cemetery at Baring, Missouri.
Memorials can be made to the American Parkinson Disease Association.
