Curtis Glenn Branscum 68, died Saturday morning, Dec 4, 1999, at his home after a lengthy illness.
He was born Jan. 01, 1931, in Pulaski, KY., and had lived in the Sandusky and Amberst areas for most of his life. He formerly owned auto body repairs shops in Amherst and Berlin Heights and also worked 40 years at New Departure in Sandusky, retiring in 1992. He was a member of UAW Local 913, Sandusky and enjoyed camping, gardening and fixing cars. He was an avid NASCAR racing fan.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Roig, to whom he was married 35 years; two sons, Jim Johnson of Amberst and Curtis G. Branscum of Germany; one daughter, Melissa Jenkins of Sandusky; two brothers,
Edmond Branscum of Amberst and Milton Branscum of Salem, Ind.; and three sisters, Mary Adkins of Dickson, Tenn., Bonnie Brenner of Lorain and Shirley Whittmore of Amberst.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Dove (Hammonds) Branscum; and two sisters, Lois Branscum and Rosa Burton.
