Son of John and Sarah Walker Adams, he married Mildred Stone on June 8, 1932, in Havana. She survives.

Also surviving are one son, Ron; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

One brother, three sisters and one grandchild preceded him in death.

He was a farmer and a member of Mason County Farm Bureau.
