Services for Ira Filmore Womack were held Feb. 1 at the First Baptist Church of Wardell with the Rev. Charles Echols officiating. Mr. Womack died Jan. 30, 1981, in Hayti at the age of 75.
He was born in Danville, Ark., Dec. 22, 1905, to the late Robert and Mary Womack.
Mr. Womack is survived by a son, Donnie of Oklahoma City; two brothers, Ray of Dexter and Odell of Dardanelle, Ark.; two sisters, Mrs. Ora Christy of Hayti and Mrs. Lora Rhubart of Belleville, Ark.; and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Thomas, Joe Mac James, Leon Curtis, Phil Ray, John Hnkins, and Donald Christy. Burial was in the Wardell Memorial Cemetery with the Jimmy Osburn Funeral Home in charge.
