Louisa N. Hunt was the ninth child of Amanda Jane Caudell and John Austin Hunt. She was born June 23, 1872 in the Sugar Loaf Valley, either in Sebastian County, Arkansas, or in the Choctaw Nation of Indian Territory. She grew up in what is now LeFlore County, Oklahoma.
On February 19, 1891, at age 18, she married John Alva Williams, and they were to have seven children. They resided near Howe in LeFlore County until just prior to 1920, where they are found in Wyoming.
They were members of the Mountain View Baptist Church in the Glendale community of LeFlore County, Oklahoma. That church was founded in 1889 by Louisa's parents, along with a home missionary and a minister.
Louisa's husband, John A. Williams died in 1933 and is buried at Castle Rock, Douglas County, Colorado. Her son Willie D. Williams died in 1978 and is also buried at Castle Rock, Colorado.
Louisa Hunt Williams died in 1925 in Wyoming, but the place of her burial is not, as yet, known.
