*Patricia A. Gilsdorf 71, of Monroe died at her home. She had been ill for three years. Friends called at the Rupp Funeral Home, Monroe, where services were held. The Rev. Terrance M. Smith, pastor of Monroe Alliance Church, officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph Cemetery, Monroe, Michigan. Born Sept. 17, 1932, in Monroe, she was the daughter of Henry and Charlotte (Rodey) Waltz. She married Albert L. Gilsdorf Sr. on Dec. 27, 1952, in St. John Catholic Church. He died Sept. 11, 1996. She was employed as a licensed practical nurse at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center in Toledo, retiring in 1978. She enjoyed camping and spending time with her family.
Surviving are three sons, Clement W. (Santa), Carl J. (Deborah) and Albert L. (Connie); four daughters, Victoria L. (Paul) Brooks, and Rhonda A (Robert) Aubry, Charlotte and Tana M.; 13 grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one brother, Wilmer Waltz, and two sisters, Rylma Gleece and Henrietta Waltz.
Patsy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was good to everyone she met and it was a pleasure to know her.
Though absent, you are very near,
