John Freund, 86, a native of Johnsburg, died at 9 p.m. Sunday at his home, 379 East Merrill Avenue.
Funeral services will be held at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the residence and at 9 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, with burial in Johnsburg Cemetery.
Surviving are his widow, Mary, nine sons and daughters, Mrs. John Gundert, Chilton, Math Freund, Calumet, Mrs. John Bartel, city, Peter Freund, St. Peter, Mrs. Susan Olig, Johnsburg, Mrs. Herman Schmidt, Millwaukee, William Freund, city, Leo Freund, Johnsburg and Lena Freund, 21 grandchildren,18 great-grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Christ Kraemer. A son Joseph Freund preceded him in death.
