Woman, Long Resident of Portland, Passes Away in Scappoose.
Mrs. Emily M. Lasche, who died at the home of her sister in Scappoose, Or., August 22, was the third daughter of Charles H. and the late Olive E. Hamlin, pioneers of 1848. Most of her life had been spent in Portland. Four days before her death she had passed her 44th birthday.
Besides a father, she leaves seven sisters and one brother, Mrs. Flora Neibauer, Mrs. Winnie McIntyre, Mrs. Inez Heitschmidt, Mrs. Sylvia Ramsey, Mrs. Essie Harris, Mrs. Floyd Eichenberger, Mrs. Fay Messenger and Mr. Ennis J. Hamlin.

Remains East Side funeral directors' parlors. Notice of funeral later.

The body of Mrs. Emily Hamlin Lasche, who died at the home of Mrs. George Ramsey, at Scappoose, Or., August 22, has been brought to Portland, and the funeral will be conducted from the East Side Funeral Directors' chapel, East Alder and East Sixth streets, this afternoon. Interment will be made in Lone Fir Cemetery. Mrs. Lasche was 44 years of age. She was the daughter of Charles H. and the late Mrs. Olive Hamlin, and sister of Flora Neibauer, Winnie McIntyre, Essie Harris, Ennis J. Hamlin, Floy Eischerberger and Fay Messenger.
