Neibauer, of Gresham; Mrs. Minnie McIntyre, of this city; Mrs. Gus Heitschmidt, city; Mrs. G. M. Ramsey, of Scappoose, Or.; Mrs. William Harris of Gresham; E. J. Hamlin of La Center; Mrs. Flora Eichenberger of Astoria, Or., and Mrs. Messenger. The funeral services will be held at the conservatory chapel of F. S. Dunning, Inc., East Side funeral directors, 414 East Alder street at 2 p.m. today (Wednesday). Friends invited. Interment Lone Fir Cemetery."

"Funeral of Charles H Hamlin Held. Funeral services of Charles H. Hamlin, who died at La Center, Wash., May 3, were held yesterday from F. S. Dunning's chapel, 414 East Alder street, and the interment was made in Lone Fir Cemetery. Mr. Hamlin was 81 years of age, and was the father of Mrs. Neibauer of Gresham; Mrs. Minnie McIntyre, Mrs. Gus Heitschmidt, of Portland; Mrs. G. M. Ramsey, of Scappoose, OR.; Mrs. William Harris of Gresham; E. J. Hamlin, of La Center, Wash.; Mrs. Flora Eichenberger, of Astoria, and Mrs. J. Messenger. Mr. Hamlin was an old resident."

"Charles Hunter Hamlin, pioneer of 1848, died at the home of his son, E. J. Hamlin, La Center, Wash., Monday, May 2, at the age of 80 years. He was born in Ohio, January 29, 1835, and came to Oregon in 1848. He lived at Thirty-first and Holgate streets for many years. He was engineer on the first boat ever navigated above Oregon City falls.
He married Olive E. Laskey in 1858 and ten children were born to them, eight of whom survive. The children are: Mrs. Flora A. Neibauer, Gresham; Mrs. Winifred McIntyre, Brightwood, Or.; Mrs. Inez Heitschmidt, Portland; Mrs. Essie Harris, Orient, Or.; Mrs. Sylvia Ramsey, Scappoose; E. J. Hamlin, La Center; Mrs. Floy Eichenberger, Astoria, and Mrs. Fay Messenger, Astoria.
The body was brought to Portland and interred in Lone Fir Cemetery by the side of Mrs. Hamlin, who died in November, 1907."

"Charles Hunter Hamlin, pioneer of 1848, died at the home of his son, E. J. Hamlin, La Center, Wash., Monday, May 2, at the age of 80 years.
