Carrol C. Aden
Carrol C. Aden, 80 years of age, of Scottsbluff, died on Tuesday, June 27, 2000 at his home. He was born on May 24, 1920 at Adams, and lived in the Adams and Sterling area as a child. He graduated from sterling High School. He moved to Scottsbluff in 1937 where he worked for Pacific Fruit until he entered the United States Army. He served as a Pacific Engineer during World War II from 1942 to 1946. He married Mary Case of Hiawatha, KS, in 1946. He was employed at Merchants Transfer from 1946 to 1955, the North American Van Lines from 1955 until 1973 and then Prohs Furniture until his retirement in 1975. He was a former member of the Cosmopolitan Club, the Veteran's of Foreign Wars, the American Legion and the Eagles Club. He was also a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church of Sterling.
