Husband of Bessie nee Mills. Son of Daniel N. & Mary A. (Favinger) Seiple.

Father of Bill, Francis, Elmer, Lola and June.

A retired Reading Railroad employee (fireman),working on the main line most of his life. Member of St. John's United Church of Christ, also belonged to the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen.

Also known as "Red", he was a well know baseball player in his home town area. He served as catcher on the Cressona and Schuylkill Haven teams. He had an opportunity to turn professional but was unable to take advantage of it due to family circumstances.

Pops was a sweet loving man, good husband and father and liked by everyone who knew him. His service was held from the Geschwindt Funeral Home in Schuylkill Haven, The Rev. L. Eugene Moyer officiated.
