Funeral for Claudy James Bethany of Los Angeles, 85, who died Monday in Los Angeles, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Brown Service Funeral Home Chapel with Major William Williford officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 tonight. Burial will be in Decatur City Cemetery.
He is survived by a son, A. Dewayne Bethany of Los Angeles; one brother, W.L. Bethany of Falkville, and several nieces and nephews. He was born May 13, 1907, in Louisiana.
A former Decatur resident, he was a switchman of 35 years for the Louisville and Nashville Railroad.
