Mrs. Verna Mae Allfrey, 69, of Rt. 1, Athens, died Monday at the Huntsville Hospital.
The funeral will be today at 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church with Dr. Fred Lackey and the Rev. Steve Linginfelter officiating. Burial will be in the Athens City Cemetery with McConnell Funeral Home directing.
Survivors include three sons, DeWayne Bethany of California; and John Allfrey and Bobby Allfrey, both of Athens; a daughter, Mrs. Susan Jane Morgan of Florida; and three grandchildren.
