Services were held Tuesday at 3 p.m. for Ronald E. Cooper, 24, of 75 S. Market St., Elizabethville, who was killed in an automobile accident on Route 209, three miles west of Elizabethville, early Saturday morning.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church and was an employee of United Engineers and Constructors, Middletown. He also was a member of the International Asso. of Bridge, Structural and Ornamental Ironworkers Union, the John Lloyd Post 404, American Legion, and the Steever R. Day Post 326, American Legion, Millesburg.

He is survived by a daughter, Christie; his father, Harry D. Cooper of Elizabethville; his mother, Mrs. Faye Cooper, of Harrisburg; a sister, Mrs. Eugene Mace, Williamstown; a brother, Larry of Hershey; and his paternal grandfather, Quay Cooper of Lykens.

The Rev. David R. Hauck, his pastor, officiated at the services at the funeral home at 103 W. Main St., Elizabethville. Burial was made in Maple Grove Cemetery, Elizabethville.
