Wife of Robert D. Shay & daughter of Jeremiah and Martha Jane (Gamble) Cremer. Lillie died 5 days after the death of her sister-in-law Mary McCarter Cremer who is buried near her. Lillie left an infant daughter Cora Louise Shay and her husband behind.

She and Robert were married September 14th, 1887.

Her dates of birth and death are recorded in the family Bible of her father.
