Services for Ovaline Penny Dake, 78, Ada, will be 10:30 a.m. Friday in the First Free Will Baptist Church. The Rev. Delbert Akin will conduct the rites and burial will be in McGee Cemetery at Stratford.

Mrs. Dake died Wednesday in a local hospital.

Born Jan. 21, 1898, in Canton, Texas, she was the daughter of Oliver A. and Rosa Hardy Penny. She married George W. Dake, Dec. 19, 1917, in Byars. Mr. Dake died in 1944.

A retired employee at Tinker Field, Mrs. Dake was also a member of the Free Will Baptist Church.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Lorena Flowers, Sulphur; one son, Donald, Malver, Arkansas; two sisters, Mrs. Beaulous Suddarth, Oklahoma City, and Mrs. Lottie Slusher, Chickasha; two brothers, Owen Penny, Bella Vista, Arkansas and Ernest Penny, Hanford, California; 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Bearers will be J.W. Dighton, Joe Hodges, Earl Collings, Dow Thompson, Duel Chism and Douglas Dake.

Smith Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
