John Henry Timmins, 73, of 416 North St., McSherrystown, died Friday evening at 7:25 p.m. at his home. He had been under a doctor's care for sometime. The deceased was a son of the late James and Anne Sneeringer Timmins. He was a member of the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, the Holy Name Society and the McSherrystown Home Association. He was a retired employe of theAutocraft Box Corporation. His wife, Matilda C. Overbaugh Timmins died June 25, 1961.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Josephine McSherry, 416 North St.; two grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30 with prayers at the Walter Funeral Home, Ridge Ave., followed by a Requiem Mass at 9:00 at the Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Church, Rt. Rev. Msgr. Patrick F. McGee, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
