Growing up in Longmont, she married Jacob Honstein in 1940. Emma enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting doll dresses, traveling and puzzles. She loved her family, children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchild.
Survivors: Sons, Jack Honstein, Longmont, CO Brothers, Jack Befus, Ray Befus, Henry Befus and William Befus; Sisters; Elizabeth "Betty" Schneider and Lillian Jones; Grandchildren, Pamela, Colinda and Jackson; 4 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild. Preceded in death by her husband and daughter in law, Naomi (Wendzel) Honstein.
A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 am, Wed., Nov. 6, 2013 at Christ Congregational, 1240 Francis St., Longmont. Burial will follow the Service, Mountain View Cemetery, Longmont. Please join the family for a reception following the burial back at Christ Congregational.
