Funeral service for Marzette Stephens Foster will be held 10 AM Thursday, March 11, 2010 in Blanchard St. Denis Chapel with Rev. Presley Hutchens officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Methodist Cemetery at Natchitoches, La. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 10, 2010 from 5 PM until 8 PM and on Thursday, March 11, 2010 from 8 AM until service time in the funeral home. Mrs. Foster, 83, of Natchitoches, La., died Sunday, March 7, 2010, at Natchitoches Regional Medical Center in Natchitoches, La. Mrs. Foster was a native of Natchitoches, La. She was a retired elementary school teacher having taught in several Louisiana Public School Systems, she also taught at St. Bernard's Catholic School in Breaux Bridge, La. and after retirement. She received her bachelor's degree from Louisiana Normal College and her master's degree in Education from Northeast Louisiana University. Preceded in death by husband, William Lois Foster, Jr.; two Sisters, Birtye Gray and Pearl Gray; three brothers, Elijah Stephens, Wesley Stephens, and Marvin Stephens; parents, Eli John Stephens, Sr. and Clara Ann Cox Stephens She is survived by her one daughter, Angela Simoneaux and husband Victor of Ellettsville, In.; two sons, Eric Foster of Columbia, Ms. and Kirk Foster and wife Kelly of Anchorage, Ak.; nine grandchildren, Ian Simoneaux, Jared Simoneaux, Noelle Kate Simoneaux, Stephen Foster, Shannon Foster, Caitlin Foster, Justin Foster, Abby Foster, and Ayden Foster; one sister, Ruby Allen of Marthaville, La.; one brother, E.
