He was a Corporal in the Revolutionary war in Samuel Clark's Co. & Col. Benjamin simon's Berkshire Co., Mass. regt.. He enlisted 12 October 1780. Discharged 19 October. Served2 days including 4 days (80 miles) travel home. Co. marched to northern frontier by order of Gen. Fellows on an alarm. Enlisted in same Co. & Regt. 26 October, 1780 Discharged29th. (3 days) on an alarm.
