Diana Priscilla Jeffords was the daughter of Nathan Jeffords 1755 and Sally Helms.
Diana married Horace Howe, the son of Nathan Howe 1773-1845 and Mary Wait 1782-1868.
The couple lived in Little Valley, Cattaraugus, New York. Horace Howe had children from a previous marriage (Ann 1811-1845): Nathan 1832, Lucy (Green) 1833, Horace 1836, Will M 1838, Eliza 1839. The couple had additional children: Ida B (Gilford) Whipple 1853. Diana's husband Horace died in 1884.

Death of Mrs. Diana Howe
Mrs. Diana Howe of Little Valley died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. Ida Whipple in that village last Friday. Her maiden name was Jeffords and she was an aunt of O. M. Jefferds of New York, formerly of Randolph, Mrs. Claribel Woodworth, formerly of East Randolph and F. L. Jefferds of Harkness switch, and was a sister of Liberty Jeffers who for the past three years has lived with his son F. L. Jefferds. She has been a long resident of Little Valley and was married to Horace Howe, who was for many years a prominent business man in that town. She was over 80 of age and leaves besides Mrs. Whipple, a son, Mr. Will Howe of Little Valley. The funeral was held last Sunday.
