Sarah (sometimes called Susan or Ellen) Millsap was born at Bartholomew County, Indiana and moved to McDonough County, Illinois in c1838-41 and then to Hancock County, Illinois in c1853. In c1858 Sarah moved with her father and step-mother to Davis County, Iowa. Sarah married Uriah Rominger (1835-1906) on 12 Jan 1858 at Davis County, Iowa. Uriah was also born at Bartholomew County, Indiana. After they married Uriah and Sarah spent the remainder of their lives in Davis County, Iowa. Uriah and Sarah were the parents of five known children, namely:
1. Joanna Rominger Senseney (1858-1940)
2. Ellsworth Rominger (1862-1930)
3. Olive K. Rominger Spaulding (1868-1953)
4. Alma Rominger Monkman (1870-1952)
5. Joseph Ambrose Rominger (1871-1928)
In 1900 the parents were living at Bloomfield, Davis County, Iowa. Susan said she was the mother of six, five living. Thus one child who died young is missing from the above listing. Four of the five children moved to Los Angeles County, California after marrying.
