James Richard "Jimmy" Taylor, 25, 1713 E. 23rd Street, died Tuesday afternoon in Ball Hospital.
Mr. Taylor was born in Muncie, the son of Guy R. and Eva (Chapple) Taylor. He graduated from Southside High School in 1967, was employed at Guy R. Taylor Company, Inc., and was a member of Teamsters Local 135.
Surviving are his wife, Pamela Ward Taylor; two sons, Sean Richard and James Allen Taylor, Yorktown; a brother, Robert W. Taylor; a sister, Mrs. James (Barbara) Crookston; and his grandmother, Mrs. Mary M. Taylor, all of Muncie.
Services will be held at Meeks Mortuary at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. Dewitt Sheffield and Rev. William A. Wagner officiating. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday and any time before services Friday.
