Emma F. Hayslip, 84, of West Union, died Friday, October 15, at the Adams County Manor Nursing Home. She was born on October 25, 1919 a daughter of the late Charley and Inez G. (Bellamy) Ames in Adams County. She was a member of the West Union Church of Christ and Christian Union.
She is survived by three daughters, Rita Davis of Winchester, Barbara Chandler and Brenda Hayslip both of West Union; two sons, John W. of Manchester and Charles E. Hayslip of New Vieanna; 12 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren; five sisters, Hazel Woolums and Opal Rhoads of West Union, Nellie Hayslip of Cherry Fork and Anna Newman and Mary Evans both of Woodhaven, Mich.; and three brothers, Jim Ames of Woodhaven, Mich., John Ames of West Union and Roy Ames of Peebles.
