Opal Rhoads age 89 years of West Union, Ohio passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at her residence. Mrs. Rhoads was born July 20, 1926 the daughter of the late Charlie and Inez (Bellamy) Ames in Cherry Fork, Ohio. Besides her parents Mrs. Rhoads was preceded in death by husbands Robert Baker, Bill Scott, Lawrence Rhoads and one son Roger Wayne Baker

Survivors include two daughters Janie & Orville Ramey of Otway, OH; Sue & Randy Wilson of Rainsboro, OH; two sons Bob & Sue Baker of Brandon, FL; Bill & Mary Scott of Wilmington, OH; sisters Hazel & Max Wollums of West Union, OH; Nellie Hayslip of Cherry Fork, OH; three brothers Roy & Nancy Ames of Peebles, OH; John & Mary Ames of Otway, OH; Jim & Edna Ames of Michigan; Daughter In Law Marty Baker of Dayton, OH; 13 Grandchildren; 27 Great Grand Children and Several Great Great Grand Children.

Funeral services will be held Monday December 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM at the North Side Church of Christ and Christian Union under the direction of the Thompson-Meeker Funeral Home with Richard Lloyd officiating. Burial will follow in the West Union Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held two hours prior to services.

Memorials can be made to Hospice of Hope Maysville and Northside Church of Christ and Christian Union.
