Ray Fonda - A service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, 1997, in Mt. Scott Funeral Home for Ray Fonda who died March 22 of complications of a stroke at age 77. Mr. Fonda was born Feb. 25, 1920, in La Junta, Colo. He worked for Northwest Natural Gas Co. for 40 years, retiring as head mechanic in 1982. Survivors include his daughters, Barbara Jean Tracey of Portland, Patricia Darlene Earnest of Beavercreek, Vicki Rae McGaw of Channahon, Ill., and Kathleen Marie Dodge of Portland; sons, Loyd H. of and John A., both of Portland; sisters, Elnora Kopp of Stevenson, Wash., and Helen Geiswein of Medicine Lodge, Kan.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
