Ory Gordon Fonda, 79, of Ash Grove, died at 1:45 p.m. yesterday in Burge Protestant Hospital, Springfield, following a brief illness.
Mr. Fonda, a retired railroad boilermaker, is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Opal Mayfield, Mrs. Elnora Kopp, and Mrs. Helen Gieswein; son, Raymond L.; 19 grandchildren; and 6 great grandchildren.
Burial Sunday, in Ash Grove Cemetery.

He also married Luella Ann Noel.
