OBITUARY: Hannibal Courier Post Oct. 30, 1976 "NEW LONDON - Services for Montro Murphy, 63, of Evanston, Ill., formerly of New London, will be 2 p.m. Saturday at the Second Christian Church in New London with the Rev. Richard Smith in charge. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery.

Mr. Murphy died Monday afternoon in an Evanston hospital.

He was born Sept. 4, 1912 in New London to William and Myrtle Frazier Murphy. He was married to Anna Mae Wilson on June 16, 1946 in New London and she survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Jo Ann Allison, New London; nine grandchildren; four step-sons, Earl Wilson, Robert Wilson, James Wilson and Kenneth Wilson all of Galesburg, Ill.; four sisters, Mrs. Mary Munday, Hannibal, Mrs. Alice Smith, Kansas City, Mrs. Virginia Clark, Bowling Green and Margaret Murphy, New London and a brother, William Murphy, New London.

Visitation will be at Robinson's Funeral Home in Hannibal Friday afternoon."
